About Chiara

Chiara is a wonderful babysitter and responsible young woman. My wife and I have known her for more than 15 years and began employing her as a babysitter over a year ago. In that time our confidence in that decision has only grown. She is incredibly adaptable in imaginative play with our five year old daughter, quickly shifting from role-playing, to singing, to ballet, to total silliness at a child's flip of a mood/switch! She is not in need of technology (i.e.- TVs, phones, video games, etc.) to entertain kids, and is not addicted to her smart phone as so many of us are these days. I can say these things with confidence since my wife and I work from home and were often nearby and/or able to observe her with our daughter from a distance and gain confidence in Chiara and the engaged attention she pays. Chiara has proven to be extremely reliable and capable of getting our slightly particular daughter to sleep without any stress or anxiety when my wife and I have needed a date night out. I should also point out that when we and another family employed Chiara for both of our daughters at once, she was time and again able to keep both of the girls happy, fed, playful, and conflict-free for long (eight hour) stretches at a time. We still are employing Chiara, but less so now that the school year has begun, so we hope others are able to appreciate her gentle, thoughtful, child care skills too!
