In 2013, I graduated with a degree in Special Education and began teaching right away. Currently, I'm in a job that I absolutely adore, a teacher at a student center, an entirely special education school. My experience working with the special needs population is not just now beginning however. It was 11 years ago, that I found a passion for this field and have chased opportunities to work with folks of varying personalities for a good portion of my life. I have experience working with ASD, Down syndrome, Spina Bifida, Cerebral palsy, Angelman's syndrome, Fragile X, FTT, a variety of sensory disorders, and multiple mental illnesses as well. Of course, I'm not experienced in everything, but I am more than willing to learn anything and everything.
