About Cheyenne

Hi! My name is Cheyenne, and I have over 10 years of experience supporting children as a special education paraeducator. I have my bachelor's degree in Psychology and am currently pursuing my master's degree in Elementary Special Education. I tutor PreK-3rd grade students in reading, writing/ELA, phonics, homework support, study skills, science, social studies, and executive functioning. I believe children learn best when instruction is individualized, engaging, and adapted to their unique strengths and needs. I use patience, encouragement, hands-on learning, visuals, games, movement, technology, and positive support to help students build skills while reducing frustration. I also have experience supporting students with autism, disabilities, and AAC/communication needs. My goal is not only to help students grow academically, but also to help them build confidence in themselves and develop a positive relationship with learning.
