About Cheyenne

I am a nursing student who takes pride in caring for the elderly. It started as a personal journey for me when my grandfather needed round-the-clock care due to multiple strokes. Assisting him included meal preparation, medication reminders, help going to doctor appointments, and doing errands like picking up groceries or dry cleaning, but most of all, I was just there for him, making sure he didn't feel alone. When my grandfather passed, my grandmother took it very hard. She needed similar care, and as I already had experience in that role, I stepped up to help her too. Spending time with her and offering companionship was the most important step. She needed help healing from his passing. Together, we would watch old films, bake, do gardening, and go on walks to keep active. I am in the process of pursuing a career as a future nurse practitioner specializing in geriatric care to help those in need. I hope to offer them the same level of care as I would and have done for my own family.
