I have experience with ages from newborn to 17 years. My experience comes from working in a daycare as a lead teacher, being a nanny, and as a lead teacher at an Early Head Start educational center. I have experience developing curriculum, extensive developmental documentation, baby sign language, and more! A little about me: I love cooking/baking, watching movies, and reading. I have 2 cats named Gambino and Ozzy. I enjoy watching my plants grow and trying the various and diverse foods in Omaha. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to a significant lack of professionalism and communication. Our kids adored her and she did a great job of keeping them on a schedule. After working with our family for about a month, she abruptly stopped showing up without any prior notice, explanation, or follow up. There was no resignation, no message, and no effort to communicate her departure, which left us scrambling for childcare on short notice. Her sudden absence not only put us in a difficult position but also demonstrated a lack of accountability. While she may have her reason for leaving, a simple message or courtesy notice would have been greatly appreciated. Based on our experience I would not recommend her to families looking for dependable childcare.
