About Chet

Most people I work with are young people and adults who have been told (sometimes decades ago) that they can't write. I was told the same thing as a Freshman in college. My teacher was wrong, and I'm betting yours was too. Writing anxiety doesn't come from lack of ability. It comes from bad early training and years of avoiding intentional writing. Fixing that is my specialty. I'm a PhD with over a decade teaching college writing (including running university tutoring centers), where I worked one-on-one in thousands of one-on-one consultations across five higher education institutions. I've taught every level, from first-year fundamentals to graduate and professional writing. If you're serious about getting better, let's talk.
