About Chessa

I'm a sitter based in Accord, New York. I bring diverse experiences from the past 10 years including nannying infants and toddlers, teaching kids yoga and play based movement, tutoring, leading gardening, homework, and game clubs, and leading a multi-level girl scout troop. These experiences, coupled with my background in psychology, inform my philosophy that centers around fostering spaces where each child feels safe, respected, and supported. I bring my backgrounds and passion in farming, ecology, cooking, music, dance, and yoga to aid in the creation of these spaces. I have an updated Pediatric CPR First Aide Certification by the Red Cross. I have reliable transportation and happy to offer light housework and cooking support. I am seeking live-out positions for families in need of part-time assistance. I look forward to the opportunity to connect. I am currently available Mondays , Thursdays, and Sundays, with availability for occasional evening and weekend care.
