About Cheryl

I'd describe my personality as fun, upbeat & high energy. I like working with kids because I feel that I give kids the care, confidence and attention that they need. I feel all kids need to be seen & heard. I enjoy being the person that kids want to be around. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help that special family with their needs. I'm looking to make someone's life a lot easier and ease the stress of raising children. I started working with kids when was 12 years old as a babysitter. I have raised two children of my own, a boy and a girl. They are grown adults now, living on their own. Most recently I babysat for my friend. Her kids were a newborn and a 3-year-old at that time. In my spare time, I like to walk my dog at the beach, garden, cook for my adult kids and enjoy a meal with my friends. One thing you should know about me is I am not available for work on Tuesdays or Wednesdays due to my part time job. My skills include calm, patient and a good listener.
