I worked as a social worker for many years both at community mental health and for a County Health Department. However, now that I have grandchildren and I am taking a Master's course online, I am taking some time off from the Social Work profession. I currently work a part time retail job that doesn't give me much satisfaction with really helping people in their everyday life. I love older people (both my parents are seniors), and think they can teach the younger generation a lot. Our society doesn't respect seniors enough or take the time to really engage with them. Hopefully, working with seniors on this site would give me that valuable opportunity.
