About Cheryl

Hello name is Cheryl. I've been a caregiver for most of my life and I can sincerely say that the children that I've been blessed to have in my path have helped me to become the person I am today. I have over a decade of experience in caring for (as well as in educating) little ones and nearly 20 in raising my own children. Before having kids of my own I was a live-in nanny for two families for almost seven years. While raising my kids I worked at their elementary school as a paraprofessional and took college courses toward a degree in elementary education. I was an art teacher for one school year and, more recently, I worked at an Early Head Start Preschool for the past three years. I have my CPR/First Aid certification and have had extensive training in early childhood education and development. My hobbies are include hiking, art (painting, building, sculpting), reading and working in the garden. I would be happy to talk further and answer any questions. Thanks!!
