I have worked 40 yrs in the medical field As a CNA with the last 17 Years as a CMA ( certified medical assistant) I have worked in nursing home years ago. Two different hospitals (General Surgery, pediatrics, the nursery and ob depts). I have worked for Home care Agency's and lastly Dreyer Medical Clinic which is now Advocate Health Care. I began in the internal medicine, rheumatology, infectious disease departments. I worked the Last 21 years in General Surgery Dept and started the breast clinic with the breast surgeon where I worked for 7 years. I cared most recently for 3 years for a wonderful Alzheimer pt full time in his home where I managed his household, administered medication, laundry, cooking, grocery shopping. I took him to his appts, hair cuts. We went out weekly to some meals and outings to parks and visited his friends. I am willing to do a live in position if needed I am currently doing a live in position for 2-24 hr shifts. Have experience caring for many seniors.
