I have been working in the home health industry for over 10 years and find that type of job fulfilling and rewarding. Through my years of experience I have acquired a variety of skills such as assisting clients with grooming, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene. I also have an in-depth knowledge of assisting clients with activities of daily living such as cleaning, cooking, and other household tasks. I am skilled in operating handicapped vehicles and equipment and able to assist with traveling to doctors appointments, hair appointments, grocery shopping, and other misc errands that needs to be done. I have been experienced in operating a Hoyer, using a slide board, and aiding in car transfers. I will soon be certified in adult and pediatrics first aid/CPR/AED (03/02/13). I have a genuine interest in assisting, caring for, and offering companionship to the elderly and disabled. I am ability to work flexible shifts and travel whenever needed. I account for myself as a dependable, honest, and hard working caregiver for those in need of care.
