About Cheryl

I have been caring for others in a professional capacity (facilities and home environments) for over 30 years. I have worked with a very diverse population including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury survivors, and dementia. I am a Certified Brain Injury Specialist, HHA, CPR and First Aid certified. I have state training for administering medication. I am a very honest and empathetic person. I am patient, personable and professional in responding to people's needs. I have a very intuitive ability to respond to people's needs in a way that allows them to feel important and maintain their dignity. I have been learning about end of life doula services and can be available to help support families and patients with planning for and processing feelings towards the end of life. I'm looking for a an opportunity to get to know and care for someone who needs a little support in life to be able to maintain as much of their independence as possible.
