My name is Cheryl. I am looking for a full-time position. 60-168 hrs/week. I have been an S. T. N. A. for 43 years. I have worked in nursing homes and hospitals, and for the last 12 years, I have been a private duty live-in caregiver. I have experience in the following areas: 1. Activities of daily living. 2. Cooking. 3. Cleaning. 4. Administering medications. 5. Hospice. 6. Companionship. 7. Taking vital signs. 8. Working with Drs. and nurses. 9. Range of motion exercises. 10. Transferring patients, including patients, that require the use of a Hoyer Lift or Gait Belt. Most of my private patients have had some form of dementia. I am very passionate about my job. I have a resume, numerous letters of recommendation from families whom I've provided care for, and personal and professional references that are available upon request.

Cheri came to us when our mom was near the end of life, and our only regret is that we didn't meet her sooner. Mom had dementia and serious mobility issues, and we had caregivers from a few of the service agencies before we found Cheri. We were blessed by most of our caregivers, but there was no comparison between Cheri and all the rest. She brought an energy and passion to caregiving that truly amazed us. She was gentle and loving with Mom, and with all of us during this sad and difficult time for our family. Cheri is also incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in caregiving, especially in this end-of-life phase. It took so much anxiety and uncertainty off of our shoulders when she came into our lives. I can't recommend Cheri highly enough. I wish every family who needs a caregiver could be blessed with someone as amazing as Cheri.
