About Cheryl

Having raised 3 now adult children of my own, I have a lot of childcare experience. I provided in-home childcare for infants and toddlers for three years while being home full-time with my own children. I transitioned from that to caring for my Mom, who needed my help at that time as she was dealing with Alzheimer's. My heart's always been drawn to care, protect, and help teach babies and young kids. I have also volunteered as a youth group leader for elementary aged kids at my church's vacation bible school for a few summers, as well as volunteered on Sundays in our preschool ministry. My work history as a medical assistant in various fields, including pediatrics, internal medicine, urgent care, etc. also gives me the experience of truly being physically and emotionally attentive to others and their surroundings.
