About Cheryl

I've cared for seniors in a nursing home setting and also a home care provider/companion in the home. I really enjoy being a companion just bringing some joy in a person's life whether that be reading, playing games, walking, taking a drive for ice cream, just helping them to enjoy as much of the day as possible. Even it it's sitting chatting over a cup of tea. My own father was totally wheel chair bound in a nursing home. I would help out with other residents just to make anyone's day easier. Of course my father got a little jealous. That was okay when he realized that it was to help others, to bring a smile, take away some loneliness. I had hoped there was someone like me that could do the same for my dad when I wasn't able to be with him. I do thoroughly enjoy seniors and children and like to help make someone's day a little brighter and easier. I can provide you with many references
