Cheryl understands that helping someone get to surgery is about more than just giving a ride. So I hired her. She did several things that made me feel confident in her. First, she was the only applicant who said she had reliable transportation in her response. Cheryl has a late-model, clean vehicle and did not scare me during the 110-mile trip. Second, during our interview, she had googled surgery centers to make sure she could get me to my appointment, which was 55 miles from home, comfortably and on time. After I hired her, she was easy to reach and very responsive. Third, on the day of our trip, she had already built in a buffer to ensure we arrived on time. I didn’t need any other help for my procedure, but during one of our talks, Cheryl offered to pick up any medications I might need. I didn’t end up needing this service, but it showed me that Cheryl understands that helping someone get to surgery is about more than just giving a ride. The next time I need assistance, I plan to reach out to Cheryl.
