Hello! My name is Cheryl. I have been caring for seniors the past 11 years. My last opportunity was being a live in companion/caregiver to a 96-year-old holocaust survivor and it was a great experience and an honor to have cared for him. I was with him for 8 years. I was raised in Ft. Lauderdale and have 2 adult children and 3 grandchildren. I worked for the phone company for 35 years and since I've been retired I have been caring for others. I love animals and enjoy going for walks. I am honest, dependable, compassionate and patient. I have cared for people that have dementia and Alzheimer's. I started caring for seniors after I retired from the phone company. It is very rewarding to know that I can help make a difference in someone's well being.

Cheryl was a Godsend to our family. As an only child and son, I decided early that I would not send my mother to a facility. So I started out caring for mother myself. But I noticed that she wasn't really happy. There were so many things I could not do. When Cheryl came in, they connected immediately. Cheryl had such a calming affect on her. They would sit outside on the deck and Cheryl would do her hair and nails and just talk to her. I was amazed at the change in mother's demeanor. I don't know what I would have done without Cheryl's help.
