About Cheryl

I'm a doctoral student finishing my capstone, professional petsitter and fitness professional of 10 years with a flexible schedule as I finish my licensing process (in March). I've worked as a tutor, camp counselor, a babysitter (age 2 mo to 11 yrs), a respite worker for kids on the autism spectrum (4-19 yr) and have volunteered at daycares (ages 10 mo to 9 yrs. Outgoing, artsy, adventurous, and understanding are just a few words that describe me. I absolutely love the outdoors, arts and crafts, learning new languages and just using our imagination to see what fun we can create together. I'm a big advocate for mental and emotional health and understand that a child's world can be a precarious one and their experiences are often formidable for their later years. Hence, why I pride myself in the patience, understanding and curiosity that I have when it comes to children and strive to be a fun, caring, creative, yet responsible babysitter.
