Hi, I am Cherokee! I am a mindful, loving, and genuine nanny with over 5 years of professional childcare experience. By combining my B. A. in Psychology from Cal Poly with Montessori methods, I foster independence through careful observation-stepping in to support or interfere only when truly needed. I advocate for a screen-free environment, choosing instead to spark natural curiosity through hands-on learning and outdoor adventures! My experience spans infants to pre-teens. Most recently, I support two Bakersfield families (an 18-month-old and a 3-year-old). In the past, I have provided backup care for four boys under 5, and spent 2 years as a full-time nanny for a 10-month-old with occasional care of his older siblings. I offer full-day care, school pickups, date nights, and temporary care. I have reliable transport, conversational Spanish, and CPR/First Aid/Water Safety certifications, ensuring a safe, active space where your child can thrive.
