About Cheri

Hi! I have experience with kids most recently in the children's ministry where I volunteered at my former church. This was going on 2 years ago. I made sure the kids were safe as they left the classroom to use the bathroom. If a child was fidgety in his chair I respectfully asked him/her to pay attention to the teacher. I enjoy being around and caring for children tremendously. I can tell you a story about 3 middle schoolers that I cared for when I lived in South Dakota for quite a few years. We used to cook together and share meals. I taught them how to set the table. We also enjoyed going to the park getting a treat to eat, which sometimes included ice cream . Cat & mouse is a fun game that I used to love to play when I was a kid. I would love to have the opportunity to play that game with any child that's big enough to know how to walk. OK, maybe not the preteens! Thank you for considering me as your childcare provider.
