About Cherith

Aloha, my name is Cherith and I am born and raised here in Hawaii. I am passionate about caring for children of all ages! I started babysitting when I was a teenager and have been actively working with youth for years. I am currently a part-time teacher for middle school aged kids and love both teaching and learning from my students. I really enjoy learning about their different interests and try to show them they are valued and gifted in different ways. I am quite active and energetic, so I am all about adventuring and doing things outdoors whenever possible! I also love playing games with kids, reading with them, and getting to know their unique personalities in the process. They're always teaching me something new... whether it be bulldozers, dinosaurs, or creatures I didn't even know exist, I'm always surprised by the expertise that children have to offer, haha.
