I worked in an inpatient rehabilitation unit and a skilled nursing facility. I provided services for patients with stroke, brain injury, and various neurological disorders including swallowing, voice, communicative and cognitive impairments. As a speech therapist, I worked with the pediatric population as well, but the elderly are especially dear to me.
