My husband and I have owned a mini-farm since 2006. We have raised our kids in the company of chicken, sheep, goat, cats, horses and dogs. Our family has also been training/showing Golden Retrievers and Australian Shepherds for 40 years. Both of our daughters, and myself, are well versed in the care and handling of these animals. Our daughters now serve as 4-H advisors, 4H judges in horses and dogs and we have all worked to train others to show their animals at both county and state fair. Past officer to our local Master Gardener group and Golden Retriever rescue. Previous foster for canine rescue group.
