About Jennifer

Hi families! My name is Jennifer, and I'm a certified Social Studies teacher with experience teaching World History, U. S. History, and Women's History at the middle and high school levels. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies, a Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification with Special Education, and I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Curriculum & Instruction along with Supervisor and Principal Certifications. I've taught in both public and private schools and have also worked with students of all ages through tutoring, summer programs, and enrichment activities. I specialize in making history and social studies engaging while also helping students strengthen their reading, writing, and study skills. Families describe me as patient, encouraging, and organized. My goal is to build confidence in each student, meet them where they are, and create lessons that make learning meaningful--whether your child needs homework help, test prep, or deeper enrichment.
