Cherie is a Stage 4 Lymphoma Cancer Survivor, and a high school and college graduate, as well as having received her certification as a medical assistant and licensed CNA.
Cherie is a blessing! She took care of my father for 2.5 years and she was the PERFECT person for him. Her expertise as a nurse assistant, as well as her warmth and humor, helped my father stay alive well beyond expectations. Cherie first assisted with my father's home health needs: cooking, bathing, walking, driving to appointments. shopping, going out to dinner, managing his house and finances (he trusted her wholeheartedly!), and as his needs increased, she was also able to help him with his catheter, oxygen, wound care, bathing and changing in bed, nebulizer--and she even gave him massages and shea butter treatments. She is an absolute gem! Cherie and my father grew quite close and he depended on her and loved her. Cherie helped with all matters around the house from cleaning out cabinets to reorganizing my father's study and bathroom. Her joyous manner lifted my father's spirits, and even during physically painful times, she was by his side, supporting him emotionally and making him laugh--while taking such good care of his fragile state. When he had to go to the hospital, multiple times, Cherie followed the ambulance and stayed with him overnight in the hospital --even when he had to stay in the hallway of the ED for three days. She is a gem. You will not find a more devoted, genuinely caring and skilled caretaker. Cherie has many talents and her greatest gift to humanity is her deep care for the well-being of others. I would be happy to speak with anyone who is considering hiring her.
