Cheree has been more than just a care giver to our family. We have depended on her in countless ways. She helps me with my special needs son and she has made the difference between him being able to succeed and navigate at school and in his extra curricular activities. Without out her, I don’t know how I would keep him from falling out of place. She has the patience to work with him through difficult struggles in school and with other kids. She is sensitive to his difficulties with emotions and trauma responses. She listens and relates to him. She is consistent with her standards and firm when he needs it. She shows him the importance of kindness. She helps me with practical tasks that I need her to do even on short notice.
