Hi! I'm Maija (said like Maya) and I have been babysitting and nannying for about 8 years. I also worked for a year in a gym childcare facility where I was in charge of up to 10 children at a time. I have a degree in human physiology and have previously worked as a medical assistant. I'm CPR and BLS certified in infants, children, and adults. I'm currently in graduate school so my schedule is a bit odd some days, but shoot me a message and we can chat about times that work! I am generally available weekends and for date nights :)

Maija watched our 2-year-old son for a date night and was fantastic! When we met Maija in person we immediately felt at ease and like our son would be in good experienced hands. Our son who can sometimes be shy around new babysitters was not around Maija, and the two hit it off right away. Maija listened to our instructions, was very engaging and attentive to our sons needs, and was able to take great care of him and put him to bed without any issues. We plan to hire Maija again in the future and recommend her highly for anyone in need of a reliable babysitter.
