About Chenoah

I am an experienced educator with a background in both general education and special education. I have worked as a middle school science teacher and an elementary special education teacher, supporting students with a wide range of learning needs and abilities. I have extensive experience writing and implementing IEPs and providing individualized instruction based on each student's strengths, challenges, and learning style. My approach is structured, patient, and trauma-informed, with a focus on helping students feel confident, regulated, and capable. At the elementary level, strengths include reading and literacy support, math intervention, and support for students with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, and processing differences. At the middle school level, strengths include science and English, with a focus on building conceptual understanding, reading comprehension, writing, and academic vocabulary.
