The hardwood floors were cleaned with Murphy's Oil and waxed for a glossy finish, the carpet neatly vacuumed the furniture dusted with orange scented Pledge, the bathrooms disinfected with bleach, the kitchen floors mopped with Pine sol the stove cleaned with lemon degreaser and the dishes washed with antibacterial wash. These are only a few of the magnificent products she used. The smells lingered and today the nostalgia when I clean reminds me of my times as a little girl and her grandma.
