About Chelsey

I'd describe my personality as intriguing , genuine and rare. I like working with kids because I've always been around helping out younger kids. I now work with autistic kids and I can say my upbringing prepared me . I started working with kids when I was 20 turning 21 and I am now going on 24. I had a peer mentor job from 7th grade up until senior year of high school. One thing you should know about me is I am reliable, responsible and protective over anything that I tie myself to. You can trust that how you leave your kids is how they will be returned to you. My skills include talking to kids at eye level to demonstrate I am not above and they are not below. We communicate equally. I also am a spontaneous person so if they start checking out on my presence I'm able to quickly switch things around for engagement. Lastly, I'm understanding. Most kids cling to me just off the strength I can understand them based on body language or tone.
