I like working with animals because they are wise. As a student of East Asian medicine trained to notice the subtleties of flora and fauna, I've grown a huge appreciation for the creatures that accompany us during this life. I'm looking for a job that is an extended overnight stay looking to tend for and care for your pets/home/plants. I am looking for a 3-6 month sit while I study for my acupuncture board exams and sit for licensure. I started working with animals when I got my pup--Aviva, a 10lb. Maltese-Yorkie rescue. She will be accompanying me! She is hypoallergenic. One thing you should know about me is along with my education, I was a caregiver for 3. 5 years for a family member who was in a traumatic accident and sustained severe injuries and brain damage. This experience informs my work and my life and has lended to a broad array of experience within the realm of caretaking/working in community healing that transcends having just been a pet owner for the last 9 years.
