My experience is: Nanny: Caregiver to an 8-year-old boy on the Autism spectrum. Worked on daily life skills and social programs. Caregiver for a 14-year-old girl. Planned monthly schedule of after school and weekend activities. Assisted in household chores. Lead Residential Counselor: Ran the weekend program at a residential home for youth with special needs. Created programs for youth and assisted in case management. Managed weekend staff. Worked one to one with youth. Planned weekend activities and trips. Assistant Coach/High School and Middle School Track and Field. Coach: Worked with youth ages 12-18. Taught athletes advanced skills shotput and discus. Motivated athletes to become leaders and role models in their community. Line Therapist: Assist two children on the Autism spectrum, ages 10 and 12, in daily living and social skills. Lead communication and money management programs. Direct Support Professional: Assisted special needs high school students and young adults in reaching social, verbal, physical program goals. Lead daily life skills programs and community outings. Communicated with other staff and clients everyday to ensure programs were completed and medication was properly disbursed.
