Hi, my name is Chelsea! I am 24 years old. I began babysitting when I was 14 and at 16, I got a job at an after school program where I stayed till I was 21. When I was 20, I got a job as a special needs bus aide. I had 20 kids at once that I was solely in charge of. It was definitely an exhausting job but so rewarding. In October of 2018 I left that job and became a full time nanny to two wonderful children. In between all my jobs, I have helped raised my 6-year-old brother since the day he was born (it's just me and my mom). helped a friend raise her two boys including going on vacation with them and babysat in my free time. Two of my favorite activities to do with a child, no matter the age, are reading books together and playing outside. I love exploring nature! I am CPR certified, a non-smoker and have my own car. Chelsea has been a Godsend to me and my (now) 11 year old daughter! Met Chelsea when my daughter was 9 and I was a newly single parent. I needed help covering schedules and babysitting, including at one point a pretty early morning schedule during the week. Chelsea was always there, never late, and my daughter really enjoys their time together. Because of her dependability, I have also had her pet sit, giving her a key to my home while we were away. We have also seen Chelsea at parks and around town with other children (including 3 boys under age 5, 1 is her little brother who is also very sweet) and she is very capable and has a great, patient, demeanor. I believe she has also worked with special needs children in another job, but you need to confirm that with her. My work schedule has changed a bit now so that I don't need her as much, but when I do call she always tries to accommodate me. I strongly recommend her.
