About Chelsea

Hi! My name is Chelsea and I would love to connect to see if we could be a good fit! I've been caring for children in some capacity most of my life. I began babysitting at 14 and became an after-school counselor at 16, staying in that role until I was 21. I also worked as a special needs bus aide, where I was responsible for up to 20 children at a time, all with different needs--an experience that taught me patience, flexibility, and strong communication. In 2018, I transitioned into full-time nannying, caring for two children in a busy household and later for infant twin girls until they entered daycare. I've also helped raise my younger brother and have been a hands-on parent figure to my stepchildren from a very young age, including staying home with my youngest until she started school. I love reading with children and spending time outdoors, exploring nature and encouraging curiosity. I'd be happy to provide references!
