About Chelsea

Chelsea was absolutely wonderful with our boy! She was with him 7 hours a day, 4 days a week from the time he was about 6 months old right through the thick of the separation anxiety phase at 10 months. He warmed up to her very quickly as she has a very warm presence, but even on occasions when he would cry for an hour after we left, Chelsea was always so patient, present, and grounded—if it bothered her, it never showed. She always helped him get to sleep, and when he woke up all happy and ready to play, she engaged him in such sweet, supportive ways that encouraged his learning and development. She was also a total blessing around the house, cleaning the kitchen whenever she had the chance during his naps, and she was always super receptive to any feedback or requests. Communication was wonderful and she is exceptionally reliable. When we realized we needed more care and asked to bump up her hours, she thought about it for just a day and said yes! We have been so grateful to have found her. It was clear from our very first meeting that she’d offer a wonderful presence to our baby, and that has been 100% true. Having her helped him get so used to staying home with someone other than us, which we think made his transition to daycare so much smoother. We are only moving to daycare for scheduling and financial reasons, but we would hire her back in a heartbeat. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, reliable nanny!
