About Chelsea

She has been caring for our 18 chickens for over a year now, whether we’re away for a quick overnight, a longer trip, or just need someone to pop by to make sure our little rooster isn’t out in the cold if we’re getting home after dark. To say we’re grateful is an understatement. She treats our flock like they’re her own babies. If she’s worried about the tiniest thing — like one of our hens accidentally shutting off the heat lamp over our tiny rooster’s area — she doesn’t just notice it, she handles it and checks again to make sure everything is perfect. She goes so far above and beyond her pet-sitting duties. She is incredibly responsible, never forgets a detail, is always on time, and somehow leaves everything cleaner than we left it (which she absolutely does not have to do). Our hens and roosters adore her. Even our little guy, who sometimes gives attitude, gets brought inside every night, tucked in with his favorite show on, and carried back outside in the morning like the tiny king he believes he is. She sends photos, videos, and thoughtful updates every single day, which gives us so much peace of mind. She truly feels like part of our family. If you are looking for someone who will love and protect your fur (or feather) babies like her own, you will not find better. We are so lucky to have her.
