About Chelsea

Hello, my name is Chelsea S and I am a first year Occupational Therapy Doctorate student at Ohio State. I'm looking for a job that is flexible with my school schedule and allows me to practice my skills of being a future Occupational Therapist while also connecting with others and caring for their needs. In my spare time, I like to spend time outside, go to church, walk my dog, cook, and read. I spend a year caring for a 3-year-old boy with Cerebral Palsy and have gained immense knowledge and understanding about individuals with disabilities and how to care for them. I also spent 2 years working as a clinical assistant for the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and have basic knowledge of orthopedic, and developmental diagnoses. My skills include anticipating people's needs, being compassionate, and showing understanding and patience. I also have knowledge of body mechanics, ADLs, and certain Occupational Therapy concepts.
