I am currently a stay-at-home mom to a silly, loving, energetic, and curious 20-month-old boy, and a little girl on the way! Our family has been in Bend for 4 years and we love the community and outdoor access here. Currently looking to help families out as a babysitter or pet sitter during the summer months! I am a licensed elementary teacher in OR and have spent most of my 12+ year education career in early childhood education (about 6 years as a pre-k teacher, 1. 5 years in elementary, and about 4 years years in special ed at the high school level). I have also nannied/tutored, provided job coaching and 1:1 care to a young adult with special needs, and worked in environmental ed and outdoor learning. I have exceptional patience and understanding of individual children's strengths and struggles, and I love to encourage exploration, kindness, and creative play! I am also an animal lover and dearly miss our two cats who passed last year, so I'd love to help care for your pets!
