About Chelsea

Hi! My name is Chelsea, and I have many years of experience working with children of all ages and abilities. I currently work as a teacher for immigrant middle and high school students who are learning English, and before that I worked in several areas of education including preschool and special education classrooms. I'm also a mom of two, including a son with autism, so I understand firsthand the patience, flexibility, and care it takes to support children with different needs and personalities. I know how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident leaving their children with someone they trust. I would describe myself as loving, creative, dependable, and most of all patient. I enjoy helping kids learn, play, and feel safe and supported while having fun. Whether your child needs homework help, structure and routine, or just someone kind and attentive to spend time with, I strive to create a positive and caring environment for every family I work with.
