I like caring for seniors because my grandparents were a huge part of my childhood and although they have all passed I have the call to take care of other seniors. I started caring for seniors as a professional job 2 years ago. At first my grandma in 2023 she was terminally ill with cancer and short time left with our family. After she passed I pursued cosmetology school but something was missing in my life. I finished up my semester and took a leave of absence. And started back in home care for seniors. Working with seniors teach us the past that is missed out in textbooks, traditional old school meals, past experiences in a first person view. Seniors have done their part in taking care of us now it's our turn to take care of them. In my spare time, I like to read fiction, medical and mental heath books. I enjoy hiking, traveling, concerts and occasionally a really great alone quiet time. My most favorite thing is watching my teen sons play soccer.
