I have always connected with elderly more than most people. I have all the patience to give and appreciation and respect for the full life they have lived. I truly connect with my clients and have a lot of love to share! I love taking my clients out into the community to museums, parks, restaurants, outside markets, festivals, shopping malls, activities at senior centers, libraries, and anywhere else that they enjoy. Additionally, I am an occupational therapist. I look forward to providing companionship while using my skills as an OT to make my client's life as fulfilling as possible. I am an expert in helping my clients with safe dressing and showering techniques. Exercise routines are also part of my extensive training. I love to help my clients get back to doing the things they love to do, whatever that may be. I have years of adult inpatient rehab experience helping patients recover after they have had a stroke, orthopedic surgery, brain injury, or have dementia.
I don't know how to thank Chelsea enough for truly loving my father with her beautiful heart. She enriched his life so much through her homemade cooking, investing in his interests, taking him to the gym daily, and taking him on adventures all around Cleveland. As an occupational therapist she guided us on home modifications and helped him live life to his fullest for as long as possible. She formed a genuine connection with not only my father, but our entire family. She spent a year with our family through many highs and lows. During this time, Chelsea took on the responsibilities of managing our 8-10 person staff, creating the schedule for 24/7 care, completing billing, and ordering groceries and items for my parents house. This took the burden off of us so we could make the most of our time with our parents. She cared for my father up until his last days. Words could never describe how grateful our family is to her.
