About Chelsea

For over a decade, I've dedicated myself to nurturing children and fostering their development. My passion stems from a deep love of children and a desire to positively influence their lives. I bring a calming, friendly, and warm energy to my caregiving, always maintaining a positive and supportive attitude. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, providing regular updates via text, phone, or in person at pickup. I am comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy child-directed play, following their lead in interests and activities. My experience includes alternative education. I was the director for a farm based homeschool co-op, an intern at the Esalen Institute's famous Gazebo Park school and have thought at nature schools. I appreciate Waldorf and Reggio Emilia teaching styles and believe play is the highest form of learning. I'm excited to learn more about your family and how I can be a supportive presence in your child's life.
