I love making people feel their best, even if it's a smile when that's all I have to offer. I have 4+ years working with children and seniors with over a year of geriatrics nursing care. I found my calling when I graduated nursing school and started working with the geriatric population. In the nursing facilities I have worked, the patient ratio is too high to provide the level of care I believe is necessary. I can pass meds but that is not the holistic approach I was taught to give. Sometimes a back rub and guided meditation can be more effective than a medication and having someone to talk to can eliminate a lot of frustrations. I am interested in private duty nursing so I can deliver all the care necessary to provide the best quality of life physically, emotionally, and spiritually because that is what people deserve.
