Hi there- I'm Chéla! I studied Early Childhood Education in college and also volunteered to Special Needs children under a program at Prince George's Community College called The Children's Developmental Clinic. As a professional nanny for the last 16 years, I have experience working with children & families of all different ages and sizes- from infant care to nanny shares. No job is too big or too small! I LOVE arts & crafts, reading a good book, anything music related (I sung with the Honors Choir from the 5th grade all the way to my senior year in high school!), and enjoying the outdoors. I have no problem changing a dirty diaper, reading a child's favorite story, playing a super hero with a toddler, or helping with some pesky math homework. I also absolutely love pets and I am a non-smoker. I hope I am the perfect fit for your family!

Chela is able to adapt to any child in her care. My kids are polar opposites and different age ranges and yet somehow she has managed to give them equal attention and consistency in her care. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a long term nanny or even a night out babysitter.
