About Chaundra

Hello! My name is Chaundra Moon: Special Needs Nanny, Mother's Helper, and credentialed Private Educator/Homeschool Teacher. My entire career has been dedicated to children, especially those with special needs (e. g. autism, adhd, cognitive processes disorder) My 28 years of experience and education as a former preschool teacher, credentialed elementary school teacher, and nanny gives me the insight and understanding into how to create personalized care plans reflective of the individual needs of families that I support! Concerning my fun side, I love arts and crafts, nature walks, longboarding, bike riding, and just being outdoors. For transparency, with my extensive experience working with multiple children of varying needs within in one setting, my daughter who is 10 years old joins me when working with families. I look forward to partnering with a family that embraces and accepts her presence, understanding that the needs of the families I work with is always my priority!
