About Chaundra

My name is Chaundra Moon, nanny and private educator. My entire career has been dedicated to children, especially those with special needs. After over 22+ years working with children in public education, I've returned to the amazing world of nannying, and have added private education as well, and I absolutely love it! I enjoy the freedom of focusing my education, expertise, and experience on just one family. I love arts and crafts, building things (although I'm not that great at it. ), nature walks, longboarding, bike riding, and just being outdoors, which makes working with pre-toddler to junior high school aged children fun and engaging for me. Planning engaging and developmental activities are two of my priorities when working with children because it's important to me that the children I work are learning and growing, and feel just as emotionally and mentally safe, secure, and connected to me as they do with their parents!
