About Charma

Charma was recommended to us by a work friend who had used her for years (retired executive of a large insurance company downtown Columbus) for his wife's care at home. We hired her during the summer of 2024 to provide care for my father, a retired engineer, during a very difficult stage of his life - he had severe dementia and was also experiencing incontinence in his final months of life. She brought warmth, compassion, and a strong sense of dignity to his care, which our family deeply appreciated. Additionally, she was so knowledgeable about the medical aspects of his care, that she served as my mentor and educated me! Charma was gentle, patient, and kind with my dad, even when his condition made communication and physical care especially challenging. She handled my father's agitation like an absolute pro. She paid attention to him and talked with him and watched TV alongside him and was an excellent companion to him. She made meals and took care of everything!
