About Charlotte

Hi! I'm Charlotte, but friends (and you) can also call me Char, like my namesake -- my sister named me after her favorite Pokémon. :) I'm currently pursuing a grad degree in counseling, with a play therapy focus. I hold a BFA in Dramatic Arts from New York University, where I graduated with honors and a minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. My narrative & scenic design can be found in escape rooms, educational curriculum, and theatre citywide. I spent 4 years as a Lead Curriculum Designer for Mythik Camps (mostly Camp Half Blood), applying love for educational adventures to a franchise I adored! As I prep apps for my Master's, I'm performing in an Off-Broadway dinner show; I feel like I get to put my play practices into motion daily with adult theatre patrons, but miss doing so in childcare! I'm overjoyed that my summer schedule could accommodate a part-time position. I inquiry-based learning as much as a wild imagination engaged in a game or story. Hope we can chat
