About Charlotte

I enjoy working with children because I can learn so much from the way they see the world. I grew up with three younger siblings and have always been a part of their homeschool education and development of motor skills. My first job was as a part-time caregiver for two toddlers and 4yo twins for a little over a year, with the youngest being non-verbal autistic. I have consistently volunteered through my church with ages from infants to 5th grade in activities such as children's choir, VBS, Sunday morning nursery, and providing childcare for special events. I also previously worked at an early learning center for 8 months as a teacher in a 2-year-old class and occasionally a sub for Pre-K where I strengthened my skills such as efficient diaper changing and ensuring smooth transition times from mealtime to play to nap and so forth. I find my strengths in playtime and engaging children's imagination with crafts and activities.
