About Charlotte

I aspire to eventually own my own mobile dog grooming business. In the meantime, I am looking to get back into working with dogs and other animals. After years of working repetitive desk jobs within healthcare, I have come to realise that to be fulfilled in a job I need to return to my roots. My favorite job was during college working at a nonprofit animal shelter, PAWS Animal Shelter in Kyle. There I was a kennel technician and my job was to maintain cleanliness, provide dogs with basic training and enrichment activities, perform feedings and administer medications, take them on walks and I also enjoyed giving them baths and nail trims. I have always enjoyed hands on, real life work and it's something I'm desperate to return to. Growing up, I was surrounded by many animals. Dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds. I have been a caretaker for all of these types of animals at one point in time and am open to working with all pets!
